If memory serves me right the DS the only one that has been able to achieve this milestone of selling over 2 million in the month of December( maybe Ps2 Not sure).
December 2007 DS sold 2.47 according to NPD.
The Xbox 360 ... well lets just say it barely topped a million a Million(1.26million) in the moth of December.
but for the benefit of the doubt the xbox 360 is likely in its peak year so it could possibly get to 1.75 of 2.0 million this december but to think it will get 2.2 million in december? um i think 2.2 million is more likely to be all the sales it gets this holiday.
the wii nad Ds are the only consoles which have a chance of getting past that 2 million in december.
i expect the 360 wont sell as many consoles next year because this is the peak year for the console.
40-45 million consoles seems like a fair ltd for the 360.
reason are: its on its third year, xbox was only on the market for 4 years,
360 is doing better hardware sales wise than the xbox so for this reason i give the 360 5 years on the market therefore likley selling 40-45 million ltd
