Just finished watching a two hour Gamespot marathon about the upcoming Nintendo game. For those of you that missed it, the replay is going to be put up here:

My 10 year old son was all excited looking at the new game he will be playing Sunday, but frankly I was very disppointed. The village part of looks a lot like Wild World, and seems not too bad, but the much touted "city" consists of one single plaza with about 10 shops stocked with overpriced junk, and a theatre where a performer tells unfunny jokes. The whole game shouldn't be named for that pathetic feature. They should instead have called it Animal Crossing : Let's Play the Same Game Again.
