My feelings about this from the thread I mistakenly created:

So I don't know whether SE realizes this, but Supreme Commander should neve come within 500 feet of a console controller. I could barely control the game with my ridiculous use of hotkeys and a mouse, but I just can't imagine what they are thinking if they are thinking of a console version. Unless they are thinking of dumbing it down, in which case I hope SE goes bankrupt a months before SupComm 2 makes an appearance. SupComm 1 was an extremely satisfying game if you managed to rein it all under control.

To further comment. I hope no angsty teens with impossible hairsdos show up in between my walls of steal clashes.

I don't think S-E have any say in the game design of the game.  I never played the first Supreme Commander but if it was really good, then I would definitely be interested in SC(not Soul Calibur)2.

That was more of a joke addition. SupComm was a badass game. It was the psiritual successor to Total Annihilation. THere was no food. You could have 500 tanks, 1000 planes, and 5000 ships if you had the time and money to build them. Also you could have as many super units as you wanted. It was VERY difficult to control but once you got the hang of it it was one of the most satisifying RTS games around. Watching hundreds of units duking it out was just so amazing. The graphics were bitchin' too for an RTS, especially one of this scope. It definetly brought my PC to its knees a few times during the bigger bettles.
