Yeah, don't underestimate the regular horde on Expert. I seriously doubt anybody here is a pro on Expert yet. I can win most of the time, but it's usually very long and grueling, because we have to make sure we take out every zombie, usually from far if we can.
If you get swarmed and don't shoot or melee them off right away, it's 20 HP per hit, so 5 hits from regular zombies and you're down...crazy.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
