| greenmedic88 said: It's a pretty straightforward game. Story-wise, everything is supposedly told through messages left on walls in the safe rooms between levels, and various clues scattered through the game, somewhat like Portal. But no leveling up (good or bad, depending on POV), means the game can't consistently keep turning up the wick on the action unless better weapons are continually introduced. While the game has dynamic difficulty adjustment with variations depending upon each new instance, it's not the same as making the game deeper as it progresses. Could be more variety to enemies as well considering how many times most are encountered. Smoker, Boomer, Hunter, Witch, Tank and basic infected cannon fodder were everything shown in the demo. At 20 levels of this, it should be interesting to see how the whole game pans out. |
Sadly I don't think they will have any other enemis, unless they have an actual and real Boss monsters. However I do hear they will have 20-30 guns in the game and that might keep it kind of fresh. I'm honestly pulling for maps which are much broader than the ones we have seen where there are multiple, and I mean more than 3, and maybe have sections so you could do combinations of passages and what not. With the AI Director, a good map could last for a very long time if one will in this game.
