The 360 demo has atrocious, so if the Wii version is anywhere in the vicinity, it doesn't deserve more than 40k sales. I still can't believe I fell for EA marketing b.s. saying Punch-Out was the inspiration behind this game. The damn thing plays like Ready 2 Rumble, with no noticeable improvements in the 9 years that have passed since it came out.

If it bombs, maybe EA will learn fom this and stick with Fight Night.

I also played the 360 demo and I got destroyed in literally 12 seconds. I tried to put up some kind of defense but I was immediately squashed. I knew it was a Ready 2 Rumble clone, but at least R2R was playable. Facebreaker was not.

As for Fight Night, I really want to play another one of those. I spent hours upon hours playing Fight Night 2004 when it was released. It was a good franchise that should see some type of sequel.

I don't know what consoles you own, but you must pick up a cheap copy of one of the later games. The whole series just got better and better. If it's PS3 or 360 then get Fight Night Round 3. If it's Wii, then get the Gamecube version of Fight Night Round 2(w/ Super Punch-Out as an extra).
