Resistance 2 offers more than the first game on all fronts. A better-designed single-player experience, more online mayhem with almost unthinkable amounts of player support, and a unique co-op mode make it easy to recommend. It's a little derivative, but it's an incredible value and a top quality production.

well it was a good review, it certainly offers more gameplay than gears 2. i cant wait to pick up my copy

 

The game is good, but if those two games were switch you'd be talking about how much better Gears 2 is and how it sold 2.1 million copies in a day and this game sucks in compairison.

 

im not saying gears 2 sucks in comparison to resistance 2, gears is a good game but resistacne offers far more gameplay imo. hence thats why my shooter for this year is resistance 2 and not gears 2.

the jibe about the 2.1 million copies is a joke i hope, i play games that i like, and games that i feel i will get most enjoyment out of NOT just because they sell more.
