Maybe freezing is one of the natural disasters? Seriously though, if the game is freezing, I'd tell you that I hope you saved the receipt and exchange the game for a new copy and hope for better results. If you do exchange it and the same problem occurs, return it and get your money back.
I'll come up with something better eventually...
