They gave Tales of Vesperia (likely a much better game) only an 8.2, and JRPG's score lower for them in general, so it isn't so far off... subtract another ~0.5 due to the guy's tastes, and 6.7 makes sense. |
JRPGs seems to have trouble getting AAA scores unless it is a main FF game. Not sure why though? FPSs can get away with being linear but JRPGs can't.
