Ditto. I thought I was just being crazy, but it's good to see I'm not the only one who feels like 08 on the Wii is a step down from 07. I'm still considering just trading it in for 07, if I can find somewhere to do that. I still need to give the party mode a fair shake, but I doubt it's going to change my mind.
EDIT: Just spotted this.
The memo reads, "Now that Madden NFL 08 is available, the development team at EA is doing some tweaking to make sure our online experience is as smooth as possible. Thier first online game for the Wii, and they need to patch it days later. Doesn't really concern me though since
I don't play online and it probably won't fix anything else.
