It's likely the only reason KH1 was able to sell so much, and if this isn't corrected, the next KH cannot do as well as the first. It would sell more like the sequel, but that's what I'm expecting, anyway. Nomura isn't really known for making games friendly to the less "hardcore." It's always loaded with complex stories and game mechanics. That's mainly the reason I see it doing fine on HD consoles, since it doesn't take advantage of the Wii's userbase.

I must say, I think KH does have the potential to be huge, if it played to the Wii's strengths. Nomura's games don't really attract new audiences, though, which is the problem (actually, I'd say it's Squre Enix's problem in general).

And no, I don't think that the Disney characters aren't important, but many argue that simply because Mickey Mouse is on the front, that means the game is targeted at "casuals". I could have sworn that KH was about a deep, engaging story and tweaked/refined gameplay. But the proponents of KH:Wii always say that this is a "casual" game
