Did LBP live up to the hype for you?

How about people who have played through it? I find it a fun game and I like the editor and it's fun, but it's just too limiting. As for the actual platforming, they made some really interesting puzzles and challenges but every time a Sackboy jumps it makes me want to punch in the TV, his movement are just so phlegmatic. It lived up to MY hype, in fact it surpassed it, but I really didn't expect anything big out of it. As for the overall hype of the game, I don't think it lived up to it at all. It's innovative for a console game with its limited editor, kudos to the sharing though, only SPORE beats it out in terms of ease of use, but it's nothing deep at all since the editor is just so shallow. It's just a game to have a little fun here and there. Casual if you will. This game + Left4Dead demo have singlehandedly delayed my schedule for game completions by stalling me from beating Red Alert 3 before Mirror's Edge comes out.
