The recession pretty much guarantees that the PS3 is not going to do as well as previous gen. It might not mean 60M for PS3 but there is no way PS3 is going to reach 100M.

 

You think the recession will last for the next 6 years? It wont sell a 100 million because the next "big boy" is here and that is the Wii. Of course money is not everything to people, quality comes first for people and would rather spend extra money for a better product.

6 years? Lol no. If it last 6 years you'd have to worry about being able to buy food let alone buying even a XBOX arcade.

 

At minimum its probably about a year long recession.  That alone will cost PS3 10-20M sales due to lost momentum.
