No, they aren't going to release around the same time.

 

You don't know that, Home could release today, tommorrow, next week, no one knows for sure.

 

Yeah, they could release it tomorrow and I could get killed by a toilet seat falling from a space station (who knows what show I've been watching today :-p).  I'm pretty sure Home isn't going to release tomorrow and I'm pretty confident I'm not going to get killed by a rogue toilet seat.

If there's anything Sony likes to do they like to announce things early and let people know about their stuff far in advance.
