Reasons for purchasing a Wii:
1) The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess was a launch title. Couldn't pass that up.
2) Other games like Rayman Raving Rabbids, Budokai Tenkaichi 2, and Red Steel looked like a lot of fun as well (Yeah, Red Steel... I know...)
3) It was the cheapest console at the time
4) Looked like a lot of fun with the new Remote.
5) Announced games such as Sonic Wildfire (Remember when it was called that? 
) Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, the next Fire Emblem... awesome!
