VGchartz has been around for a relatively short amount of time and during that time has made some notable corrections to numbers, which of course certain fanboys will remember for years to come. However on the plus side the amount of crapping on VGchartz numbers across the internet appears to have significantly reduced over the last year as the numbers tend to compare better to other sources and shipment figures.
Also some people can't wrap their heads around the concept that VGchartz can be 10% high/low verse NPD or Mediacrate and still be an acceptable estimate.
