I have walked into stores out of boredom or not knowing what I am going in there to purchase. I guess I just don't take people's word for granted. I have talked with employees talking about games but I would always go home and check whatever game they are talking about online. I suppose I am not so impulsive buyer. Sure there are plenty impulsive buyers but I believe gamers go into a store knowing what they want to purchase. Has a person working in game section got someone to buy a game that they wouldn't before walking I am sure of it. I just think the days of looking at the box art/screenshots (NES/16-bit era) is over. Gamers have access to too much information on internet. So sure there should be a store that employs employees to know what they are talking about. However, all these companies don't pay crap to their employees. I guess we get what we deserve when Gamestop buys out all the competition besides Wal-mart, Best Buy, and Fry's Electronics. I will admit that I did ask a Fry's Electronics employee which headphones I should get and he game me return ratio semi facts about the headphones. I ended up buying Creative Noise Canceling Headphones HN-605....
