Considering that the Wii had only just come out, thats actually a pretty sensible prediction. The PS2 is dirt cheap and has the largest game library ever. And games are still coming. If the wii was doing gamecube levels right now, the other two probably wouldn't have price cuts yet (maybe the 360) and the PS2 would be flying along at a steady clip.
