I agree that many stores could use improvement in customer service and Wal-Mart is no exception to the rule. However, considering they're the biggest retailer in the world and make billions of dollars in profit the way they operate, they have no real incentive to change. In any economy, good low prices are almost always the biggest factor in most consumer's eyes when it comes to choosing where they shop. In a bad economy like we're facing now, it's become even more important. There was a recent news story about many big stores bringing in less money from the same time period last year. Wal-Mart though increased sales, one of the few big retailers to do so.
