Perhaps it's because the game is essentially MS1 (which a lot of people didn't like... it lacked something (anecdotal)) with added moss.

and Forza 2 is essentially Forza 1 with a different paint-job. See it can go both ways.

Anyways MotorStorm is now apart of the greatest hits which probably cut into sales as people probably think there isnt much difference between the two games and picked up the cheaper one.

As for bundles isnt MSPR bundled in the EU? if so it has a strong chance of sales.

For retail this is a major issue. No retailer now a days seems to actually use sales people to sell a game/product so there is no customer interaction between customer and retailer employee minus say "can you get this game out of the case?"

I'm not sure I'm getting what you're saying. Do you mean the retailers are supposed to educate the customers about the games? Considering the audiences I'd think that would help the Wii's software more than anything.

@Griffin: I just checked Amazon, Gamestop, and Bestbuy (online) and they all have it. You may not be able to find it because there's little demand... games don't really recover from that. Tales of Vesperia iirc had far worse supply issues, notice how little effect it had on its sales.

OT: This won't sell well in America. It has little going for it. If I had to guess, I'd put its max America sales at around Boom Blox (~400k?). If you're hoping it'll do better, wait for its debut in the Others market - racers tend to do better there.
