No offense man, but please see my comments above; you have misinformed anyone who has not actually played this game yet. Multiplayer set-up and specifically the lobby HAVE changed, but the differences are nowhere near as bad as you claim, they are just different. Multiplayer versus matches do differ in many ways from Gears 1; stopping power affects how you play the game, the roadie-run shotgun and two-piece have been removed and tactical grenades are a major addition. The new weapons add great flavor as well. Good luck figuring these things out, if you honestly want to enjoy this game, though I have to be honest, I'm not sure how you missed all those things I noted above.

THis is a long quote but how in the hell do you host an online game if all the servers are public? Do you unlock it by playing single player. When I choose online multiplayer I get the choice of:
Find Team,
Choice of Public Online, Private Online, System Link and Local
Choice of Playlist (Elimination, terrirories, horde, wingman, and flashback players choice)
Thats it, pleae post your solution to my problems on this forum as well as Epics bucause hundreds of people there are having the same problem. Im not figuring it out becaue I tried for hours yesterday and I obviously wont ever and neither will the people on Epics forums. I think everything you stated sounds great, but is near impossible to figure out. I feel if I am stuck with Quick Play(from Gears 1) as my only option.
EDIT: you are talking about private matches, which requires a bunch of your XBOX friends to be online or bots.......You cant have one of these matches against random people, which is obviously my gripe here. I cant join someone elses private match unless I know them, so I am stuck with public, ranked games in which all of the problems I have are occuring. This was not an issue with Gears 1.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
