No it's not, it's a SRPG, it's just dressed up a little. Calling this game "not a srpg" means either you've never played it, or you've never played any other srpgs.

 

 

all stategy rpg are grid based turn combat like disgea 3, valkyria isnt like that at all.

i have disgea 3 and valkyria, and both games are different gameplay types

 

Not all strategy games are grid based. Look at Phantom Brave or Valkyria Chronicles.

lol there isnt a game like valkyria, disgea 3 is a proper startegy game. valykyria battle playes out like a normal rpg but in 3rd person view its totally unique.
