Just a note, the 360 hardware cut had the effect of increased longterm sales, while a software spike usually is just that, a spike, with a ripple. Software spikes don't have long legs unless a game is bundled, and/or a new SKU is introduced. On the other hand, price cuts are focused on legs.
So, they're incomparable.
A better comparison would be the 360 spike during Tales of Vesperia.
