Ah ha ha, so this is now a "quality third party" discussion? Please. This is a discussion of software in general, not "Software minus Nintendo software. Also games like Carnival Games. Also no Mario and Sonic." Don't move the goalposts. The question is: "Does the Wii sell software?" The answer is yes, it sells quite a bit, which suggests people aren't letting their Wiis collect dust. If people weren't using their Wiis, why are they buying so much software for it?

VGC reaches the same conclusion that the FRs do: the Wii's attach rate is better than the PS3's.

The number of factors involved if we consider all the games the Wii sells is too much, take for example the huge "extened userbase" the Wii has. ATM, I can't be bothered to discuss it. See you at attach ratios at the end of '09. Comparing the two then would be much more fair.

Translation: I got busted, I don´t have any proof or anything to backup my statement, the VG numbers are against me, I can´t spin my argument anymore, I give up :P

Further translation: Take any recent multiplat and see VGC numbers. Who sold more? yup. The further translation even goes into stopping to try and speak for me.

And Bodhesatva, different type of software was my intention from the beginning. The PS3, for the most part, doesn't have equivalents for Wii software save for multiplats. On which platform have multiplats sold better? that was my comparison.

I´m not trying to speak for you, I´m trying to figure out why you can´t post any proof and you leave the argument, you can´t just cherry pick: "any recent multiplat" and try to make valid your point, SW sales are bigger on the Wii, thats a fact, cherrypicking any multiplat is plain sad, because you are leaving exclusives for both systems, maybe there is a ton of shovelware on the wii, but it sells, and thats a fact...
