Lets not forget that NA is the biggest fps fanbase, with Europe to a lesser extent, and PS3s userbase in NA pales in comaprison to 360's. That automatically shows that its sales legs and launch numbers can only be so great.

Lets also not forget that Killzone 1 was a flop and quite the forgettable game.

Halo Wars will sell on brand name alone and the 5+ million NA userbase will give it a even bigger boost. Lets not forget how MS loved to advertise its biggest 1st party games while Sony tends to be cheap on the advertising.

Killzone sold over 2 million, despite being a bad game.  And it sold better in Europe than in NA, because it was made by European devs and was more heavily advertised in the region (they even had a Collector's Edition exclusive to Europe).

Killzone 2 will sell well enough because of marketing and graphics alone.  Just look at Crysis.  It was hardly an original game, but it sold a million in only 3 months because of "teh graphix!"

OT: FPS vs RTS?  That makes no sense.

I hope Halo Wars sells extremely well, if only to show MS that they were idiots for closing a studio as great as Ensemble.  ;_;

 

Yeah, but the first game had a ton of marketing around it and it was for the Playstation 2. It'll probably sell well, but who knows against a Halo game? No way to tell.
