Right, so you don't disagree with the inconsistant timeline or anything like that, but you still think that MS4 which is a very story important game it is acceptable to just have a bad contradicting story?

 

Big Boss is meant to have been a Snatcher...I mean...come on...there is no reasonable defending of that decision.

You're blaming the wrong game for the plot issues.

It's MGS2 that introduced so much complete and utter bullshit into the franchise. It was so awful Kojima had to spend large portions of MGS4's plot trying to erase its bullshit from existence.  Yeah, it's not perfect, but when you make a game as awful as MGS2 it's impossible to correct it completely.
