Why does Wii games look so bad?

Flaming thread title used for dramatic effect. Interesting read otherwise. It's a shame we get no analysis from the OP. This is actually a pro-Wii article. Basically it says developers are lazy or time constrained. It suggests the Wii needs a graphics engine like Unreal to make it easier for developers to utilize the Wii hardware. Maybe Retro might like to lend theirs. LoL.
