They were about the same at Wal-Mart, so no, I did not make any profit in the returns. Go to walmart.com, and you will see that they are very comparable to amazon in their pricing. The listings there will also tell you if a title is sold in stores or not.
From Amazon I bought:
V is for vendetta, Superman Returns, Batman Begins, and The Corpse Bride. I actually picked the titles I liked as a primary criteria, just in case the store did not take them back. The store did not stock The Corpse Bride, so I ended up keeping it. It was the one I wanted to keep the most anyway, so no loss there.
