I, and I think a lot of other older gamers, just want to feel like we're boarding for a few minutes (5-30) and then go on with our lives. The HD versions try to be like your really snowboarding, and I mean like an actual stay on the mountain as opposed to just the snowboarding. Hell, if I want that I'll goto ski resort for real. Just give me a quick fun experience without being a timesink or requiring me to learn complex controls.

 

I agree with you, maybe older gamers with a LOT of free time prefer all those things, but I prefer an arcade experience. I hate when this idiots don't like something they say is for kids. Kids and youngsters with a lot of free time would also like a more robust experience.

 

Oh, and I'd take the splitscreen multiplayer over online any day.
