He's only accredited with the good decisions of Nintendo, that's the only way the whole god on earth Miyamoto myth can work :)

 

I actually think he deserves that myth. He alone saved Nintendo who have now been around for ages, he is the only person in gaming ever to have had an influence that big.

Also two of his characters are perhaps the most famous of any video game characters ever - Link and Mario.
