The Wii has far lower development costs, and sells the same amount of software as Ps3 according to VGChartz. If you look up Nintendo and Sony's reports however, you can see that it is actually far greater on the Wii (ala, about 1/3 bigger), and that the Wii is roughly X360 size (slightly smaller). This is despite the Wii having a far lower general quality of 3rd party games than the Ps3 or X360.

So I see no reason to skip the Wii. All consoles sell (about) equal amount of 3rd party, and Wii costs less than half to develop for. But, you can make a game for both Ps3 and X360 (that is the same game), but that needs a different version for Wii.

I believe that the situation is so, that by developing for Wii, you will in the long run see a slightly higher profit, but you also have a higher change of a disaster.

Speaking of Disasters, you still haven't replied to my reply to you in the Disaster: Day of Crisis - Sales  thread.
