Depends how long Sony milk it.... if they stop producing the damn things after Christmas 2009 (meaning it would be produced roughly the same length of time as PS1) then they would have a few months of stock to ship out, then retailers would eventually have to start selling it below what they paid for it.
So to retailers it's better the lower it goes.... my bet it it will reach ~£60 (it's £100 now for reference) with a cut to help sales sometime late next year, and a final cut when they stop producing them and ship the last stock off.
Didn't the GC go down to $50? or would that just be old retail stock? (selling for lower than retailer bought it)
