You guys realize the PS3 HARDLY sold till several price cuts came?
The 360 sold pretty well at It's high launch price and was very supply constrained for a good half year or more.
Anyways, I'm sure the 360 will see another price drop by next September regardless of a slimmer version down the line or not. Especially if the PS2 is still on shelves next XMas because that will most likely be $100, and *some* people will still consider a PS2 over the 360 (since games are still being made for the PS2).
It's just that simple.
