N64 games on psp?

Yes, it can be done. But would it work right? Would it not be complicated and difficult? No matter how you try it, the answer is no. You need the analog on one side, with a shoulder button/trigger, and you need six buttons + a shoulder/trigger on the other side. There's no other way to work it out without being complicated and difficult. Period.

Uh no, YOU failed. Why the hell should he go out and put money down on a PSP just to confirm what can be seen fairly clearly just by looking at button placement? I can play roms on my laptop if I want to and not waste $150 in the process.

Why don't YOU actually do more than bitch about his "baseless" claims and start backing it up with your own explaination for how this amazingly convenient and intuitive remapping of controls works if it's so damn obvious?

2) yea...i could play alot of roms on my psp without spending over $600 on a useless laptop

1) I don't see any PSP games in theonestarr's game list, so I'm kinda doubting he owns a PSP. I suppose he could theoretically borrow one from a friend, provided that friend has homebrew and the emulator in question and some decent roms to test it out. So otherwise, he'd have to buy a PSP to be able to test this out.

2) Any PC will work, but the laptop I have for other things like PC games, College classwork, Art, Videos, net surfing, etc, so I already have that, it's portable, the screen is a lot bigger than the PSP, calling it useless is just childish.

3) Playing on a PC is actually incredibly easy, since I have a PS2 to USB adapter which lets me use my PS2 controller to play roms. Can you say "dual analog"? Well, I'm sure you can say it, but good luck simulating it on your PSP. The PS2 controller came with my PS2 console, so that's covered, and the PS2 to USB adapter cost less than $10.

 

But that's all beside the point. The point is, YOU'RE the one defending the N64 emulator for the PSP. I haven't seen anyone else claiming this N64 emulator on the PSP as being wonderful or comfortable to use. Since you seem to have so much apparent experience with it, why don't YOU tell us how these controls are set up, instead of just telling other people they don't know what they're talking about? Here, I'll even give you the format:

So come on, just fill in the blanks. You've supposedly tried this emulator and it supposedly works well enough to defend it, so you should be able to do this just fine. After all, you're the one telling other people not to talk about things they don't have any clue about. So now's you're chance to show that YOU know what the heck you're talking about.

Seriously, I'm not even making any assumptions here, I just want to know how this emulator works, but you've yet to give any actual information, so I'm calling you on it. Contribute some real information that defends your point, or accept when people call you on your fanboyism.
