I am addicted to the Drums part of Wii Music where you use the Balance board in combination with the Wiimote and Nunchuk. I have been going through the lessons and I really feel gratified when I can complete a small pattern. Its great that you have all the pieces of a drumset as opposed to the 3 or 6 for Guitar Hero. There is a learning curve for understanding how to strike each piece of the drum set.
This game is more like learning music traditionally. I have played Guitar Hero. Good game. But one thing its not is learning the different parts of an instrument and how they can be combined. It also isnt a rythm game where you have to learn how to combine different parts of the instrument to achieve different sounds.
I dont think Wii Music is better than Guitar Hero or vice-versa. Its just a different experience. I am glad I am not the only one who sees it this way.
