PATRIOT7ME said:The best example you could come up with is someone like a long long time ago which had different issues then. You keep dodging the Jimmy Carter thing and he's much closer to today's issues.

I do not continue to dodge the Jimmy Carter "thing." He had four years experience as a governor and a few as a state senator. Carter, as you McCain supporters love to assert in regards to Palin and Obama, had more executive experience than McCain. Now, even though the issues have changed, the skills needed to lead our nation have not changed. As the success of Lincoln, Cleveland, and others has demonstrated, experience is an overrated attribute.

You do dodge Jimmy Carter is a good example of why Obama isn't good enough for president for today's issues. Carter is much more recent than the two you keep saying that were around a much much different time.

Jimmy Carter is in no way related to Obama. They are completely different examples. Your example is not even an example because it makes no sense. My examples make sense because they highlight two exceptional presidents who had little experience similar to Obama. When you couple this with the fact that many terrible presidents have had much experience, this demonstrates that experience is an overrated attribute. I hope I have imparted some knowledge to you.
