Ok. I am Shigero Miyamoto. I've been posting under this alias for a while. I think you have a point, and will implement it as soon as you, in your infinite wisdom tell me how.

Should Nintendo

Finish games when they would be finished, and then sit on them for a few months to give our year a nice sense of symmetry

Or

Fire the mario team, use the money we saved here to employ some extra managers to tour of facilities, and perform acts of industrial saboutage to make sure the games finish when they should.

Honestly saviour. Nintendo in 08 produced some of the best games ever, and you choose to knock them down because they released the core titles in the first half year and the extended audience titles in the 2nd? You are really spoiled. I assume you were an only child?

Oh geez. I'm not knocking Nintendo. Ask anybody who's aware of my post history, I've been doing nothing but "building them up" for months. However, after reading The Source's weekly previews, often times he mentioned that software kept Wii HW sales lower than unusal in Japan. And I noticed after MKWii's release, there hasn't been a big Nintendo game in months. I think the year should have some symmetry, yea but I don't know about all that firing talk.

Why the personal insults? How am I spoiled? I never requested a game. I'm just saying how (I think, I THINK) they should be dispersed through time.

And no, I am not an only child. I have two brothers and a younger sister, and a cat. Middle class with a good family.

Sorry, I think I woke up grumpy this morning

Anyway, my point is that it's not as easy as you are implying to space out games, and when you have games with legs, it doesn't really matter when you release them

Also, what you describe as a big game is not what others would
