VGChartz is well beyond NexGen. This is a site with people dedicted to sales. They recently stated they're getting as close as within the NPD margin of error.
On the other hand, if you do some easy "research" (I use the term loosely), you'll see NexGen is run by a college student who makes start up websites in his spare time. If you look, he's made, and is currently making, loads of websites and stuff while trying to live a life.
That's why his sales suck. (I also suspect he's a fanboy of some sort).
