Whether LBP will be huge in Japan is up for debate. Certainly it's outselling Wii Music in NA even though it wasn't officially released last week.
Wii Music has had a much better 1st week (comparitively) in Japan than NA. Both sold about 100k, but Japan is a much smaller market. But in Japan it's dropping about 50% each week for two weeks. Not a sign of strong legs.
We'll see how it holds in NA and launches in Others this week, but with a weak debut, even for a Wii title and if Japan is anything to go on, it's unlikely Wii Music will be able to match Wii Play/Fit's success as everyone expected.
