Well, animal crossing & wii music are games that will make nintendo a lot more money than 2D sidescroller games that have been done to death.
Nintendo cares about the money, in fact they're still making $$ off 20yr old games via VC. U can always give 'em some of ur money for their old metroid games if u haven't played 'em ;)
