It's got multiple divisions based on the type of car and power of the car, specifically, LMP1, LMP2, GT1, and GT2 (LMP contains prototype cars while GT contains cars based off of production cars) .  They all include a few different cars.  For example GT2 has 3 911 GT3 RSRs, 2 Sypker C8s, and 8 Ferrari F430 GTs this season.

 

Ah, so it's like the category you race in GRID, but based in the US and not in Europe. So it must be pretty similar to the FIA GT championship
