Probably not. It is either becuase
- They are hold supplies as not to exhaust them in one run. Is smart as it keeps the customer coming back rather then having them lose interest
- There is something in manufacturing where you have a maximum number of items produced to make you the maximum profit. Becuase of overtime and utility cost, there is a peak where you can make a product and all others produced in that time period will lose the company money. So, if the max is 3000, 3001 will make ~ the same as 2999. So, overall, you'll never make that money back, and made two extra units.
