if we are just going by Nintendo made software -> Mario Kart and Brawl were released this year... just fyi
Along with Wario Land, Disaster Day of Crisis, Animal Crossing, wii fit (on wii) and professor layton, advance wars, kirby super star, rhythm tengoku (for importers) pokemon mystery dugeon (on ds) i can safely say no, it wasn't in any way the worst year for a nintendo console
