And how far have I gotten you ask? 33% I got the Wave beam missle and the Ice beam! Those bloody chozo ghosts scared the crap out of me the first time around! But I must admit, I'd like to be able to enter that temple room just ONCE without having to fight all 3 of them.

I agree with you too. But you must admit. The atmosphere - art style - graphics - geometry and design Chozo Ruins is the very best in the series. It has such a mysterious feel about it that gives you the feeling that you NEED TO EXPLORE EVERY SINGLE NOOK AND CRANNY of the whole huge ruins!! I loved it!

When did you get hooked? 

I got hooked with the Prime series. No I didn't rush out to buy it. I never like FPSs before and whatever the PR talk I wasn't convinced that this was the typical shooter. I researched it a lot because seeing the gameplay videos make me itch to get it. When I figured out the controls and that it is indeed an adventure worth exploring I purchased it [2004] and never have I look back with regret. Metroid Prime is my favourite game of all time. Period.

Since then I played the previous Metroids except for Metroid II. Loved all of them especially SM but none of them captivated me as much as Prime did. Retro Studios are Nintendo's best purchases. Forget Rare - Retro is the way to go
