Don't be too sure about that. I've recently read on a website, that Jade Raymond and her team has a new project in production which hasn't anything to do with Assassin's Creed.

Of course I hope they will release AC2 at the end of 2009

If you mean that game "I Am Alive", then it has been confirmed that Jade Raymond is not working on it.
