Theres still a fair few arcades left in central London, i can think of 6 off the top of my head that are all within a 2 to 3 mile radius of each other (cant remember names of most) Theres a Namco arcade in the Angel area of London, One in holborn (dont know the name) theres one on oxford street (near tottenham court road tube station)theres also one thats actually on Tottenham court road (ironically next to Goodge street station lol) and the other 2 are Trocadero (once known as Sega world) and theres one near the London eye (I think its called fun land)
They all seem to still be doing pretty well so fingers crossed theres no closures anytime soon, Afterall, The one on Goodge street gets all the latest fighters as soon as they hit the UK, (Can't wait to check out street fighter 4)
Regarding wether arcades are still fun? Short answer........... NO, They're more of a novelty now and somthing you just pop in to for a few minutes if you happen to be in that part of town.
