A large amount of people (who would never shut up about it, even when no one was discussing it) thought this would flop on the PS3. And after one week in one region, people are already claiming it to be a flop. Hasn't anyone learned anything from the Wii? Remember Carnival Games?

Well, at least PS3 owners will finally have a game with long enough legs to laugh at the doubters months after launch.

As a xbox supporter, I've found it to be absolutely hilarious how sony fanboys have tried to spin the 3rd place standing of the ps3 for years now.  The console isn't a bad console, I am sure, but the best analogy I can make of the ps3 is this:

Sony's ambition for ps3 was to build a $800K in a $500-600K neighborhood.  And the house is stocked with builder specific items that most people aren't sold on yet, thus risking yourself to limit your buying audience.  Nintendo built a $400K house and M$ built a $500k - $600K house.  Sure it had some problems, but the builder instituted a favorable warranty program to insure the owner was screwed, but these houses had ton of amenities.  The other problem is that as the new sony houses are built, there is a housing slump, forcing buyers to scale back. 

Mark my words, sony is going to be in an ugly bind in 2-3 years, as nintendo and M$ will be launching newer and more powerful consoles, and they will be stuck on the ps3.  So what's my point...just this, THERE IS NO KILLER APP FOR THE PS3 FOLKS...
