I have never been a big fan of the mario kart series, not because I don't like the games, but because its never was a big deal with my friends and it was hard to get the multiplayer goodness that makes the game worth the money.
So with full fledged online with random people this game could be a whole lot of fun! Especially if they put some work into the options and allow for leagues and stuff, but no precedent for it so I am not holding my breath. Either way this may be another one of those must own Wii titles that is coming out in the relatively near future.
PS - I am glad EU is getting some loving on this one with it coming out there first. I would prefer same release date for all regions but with region barriers and language barriers etc....well you guys know.
