I don't get why there is so much doom and gloom forecast on the sale of the PS3 the week before a new SKU gets released along upcoming big titles and bundles. Any sensible gamer in Japan would surely wait for one more week before purchasing a PS3.
This is almost as bad as those idiot that laughed at the 360 sale of under 1k the week before the price cut in Japan, only to shut the hell up when it achieved parity with the Wii on the next week.
HD console adoption overall is still pathetic, I wonder how much of this can be attributted to the Wii and how much to the handheld takeover...
The funny thing is that blueray has had some amazing market share gain in Japan, so obviously there is a market for HD things... just not game I guess :/ ::sad::
