Yes. There's co-op in Eternal Sonata.

You can select the different controllers to various playable characters. Ie, player #1 is Allegretto and Beat, Player 2 is Polka. So in battle, those characters are controlled by those players. Very cool.

I didn't have too many problems with the BD or ES demos. The problem is that adding alot of instructions to the game, adds time to do (money) for the developers...Not always a good thing.

The battle system to Blue Dragon is real simple. You just have a few characters that have the "charge" ability. IMO, since they throw you in the middle of decent-level characters with tons of abilities already assigned to the characters, it makes it a little bit more daunting - atleast with ES you start from Level #1.

Either way, the ES demo just freaking rocks. There's NOTHING like pressing Y button in battle at the end of a 32-chain combo, and watching your character attacking an enemy for close to 10,000 damage.
